March Notes
This months links, recs and happenings.
On this months round up, I’m sharing a bits of what I’ve been saving, listening to and some behind the scenes.
I also wanted to include a bit of a life update on what I’m currently working on and what is coming up in the pipeline. The newsletter has been going really well, I have really fallen back in love with the process of writing and it has been so nice to hear feedback from those of you reading on and how you’re finding the newsletter so far.
In terms of offerings, I’m excited to have recently launched 1:1 breakthrough sessions where we discuss any questions or obstacles in the areas of online business, personal branding, marketing, etc. Think of them as coffee chat with a friend where you’ll walk away with tailored advice and actionable steps post call. For more info hit reply and I’ll send you the details.
That’s it for now, I will be sharing more details of things as they unfold!

BTS…
This past week I had another photoshoot to gather more content for marketing, PR pitching and social media. I had a few discussions with people as of late about photoshoots and content shots, and honestly, there’s so much more that goes on in the background that one would expect. I will be writing about this process in more detail in an upcoming newsletter, and sharing some ideas in terms of preparing for the shoot, as well as how you can get the most out of the day itself, so that you’re not on the eternal hamster wheel of feeling like you constantly need to create content.
THIS RECENTLY LAUNCHED COMMUNICATIONS TOOL…
There’s a new community platform popped up on my radar recently called Azura. Think of it as a Slack, meets Notion meets ClickUp platform, built specifically for coaches, service providers and creatives. Where they stand out here is the aesthetics as well multi-functionality all rolled into one. The thing that really struck me, is how much brand customisation is possible and also the ease of use (both from the perspective of myself and clients). It’s very important for me to have a modern, minimalist and beautifully designed platform, so that it is a smooth transition and consistent whichever medium my audience is using to connect with me. Equally important is a platform that has almost no learning curve and is easy to use, to minimise any friction for clients. I am yet to it try out, I have everything built out on Notion, but I will be following along closely to see how the platform develops and if I should be making the switch.

THIS PODCAST EP…
I really enjoyed this podcast interview on Chevere Means Cool podcast with vintage curator and designer Mariana Vergara. In the interview she shares a fresh perspective on the early stages of running Merci, c’est vintage, her process for curation and creative direction, as well as Marlies Grace (where she designs) being picked up by Moda Operandi. I’m also looking forward to tuning into more episodes on the Chevere Means Cool podcast, which feature a host of designers, entrepreneurs, artists and tastemakers.
THIS OVERSIZED SHIRT STYLING HACK..
I do love a good oversized mens shirt, so when I saw this simple hack to tailor oversized shirts in a a matter of seconds, I knew I had to get my hands on some these clips. Click the link to watch the full video below. And if you’re not already following Katie Casper, I highly recommend following, for all her tips on styling and sourcing quality vintage.
QUOTES BY THOMAS LÉLU…
I just love the simplicity of the quotes artist Thomas Lélu shares on his Instagram. There’s something about the effortlessness, simply written on paper, and tongue in cheek yet relatable tone.
I also really love his collaborations with notable brands and use of mix media. If you’re inclined to collage, photography and words through art, then I recommend you check out his work.
